The Shoot is giving professional "on-set" learning experiences to young aspiring filmmakers from all over the world, for free.
Filmmaking is a team sport.
The best way to learn something is to surround yourself with people willing to share their knowledge and show you how it's done.
Camera and Lights, Sound, Production, Directing and BTS,
5 teams, each consisting of 1 professional and 3 apprentices.
Our editions run as a real movie production set, creating high-quality films which are then submitted to festivals around the globe.

Craig Viveiros is an award-winning British / Portuguese film and television director. He's directed the critically acclaimed ‘Breathtaking’, Agatha Christie's 'And Then There Were None', BAFTA-winning ‘Rillington Place', and ‘The War of the Worlds'.
Craig also founded 5iveFs, a collaborative community project committed to uniting artists from around the globe in the creation of innovative and original content across various mediums.
It is through 5iveFs that Craig is supporting this project.

We have partnered with some of Portugal's biggest film equipment rental houses to outfit this production with some of the industry's best filmmaking equipment.
Pirates of the Caribbean, The House of The Dragon,
and Fast and Furious X are just some of the productions that have rented equipment from them.
